BIOGRAPHY
I was born in Harare, Zimbabwe in 1976. Between 1996 and 1999 I attended the University of Cape Town in South Africa where I obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts Honors degree with a major in painting. In 2005 I immigrated to Australia and became an Australian citizen in 2007. I relocated to Hong Kong in 2010 which is where I currently reside. From 2007 to 2011 I was represented by Brenda May Gallery in Sydney.
The majority of my work consists of oil paint on canvas although I do also work with paper and collage. Consistent themes in my work allude to issues concerning identity, displacement, loss, and our human fragility. My work strives to thoughtfully provoke.
